Seed & Sky Education Pathways is based in Boston and New York City. While we maintain strong relationships with schools and institutions in these regions, the majority of our advising, coaching, and tutoring sessions are conducted virtually, allowing us to work with families across the country and internationally.
We work with motivated, high-potential students and families from diverse backgrounds who are navigating rigorous academic pathways and value thoughtful, relationship-based guidance. Many of the families we support are exploring independent schools (middle and high school level), competitive colleges, or graduate pathways.
Starting with students as young as 10 years old, we support students across the full educational journey, including:
Students applying to independent day and boarding middle and high schools
High school students preparing for college admissions
Students preparing for standardized tests such as the SSAT, ISEE, SAT, ACT, and GRE
Students K-12 who seek academic tutoring
College students seeking guidance on graduate school pathways
Ideally, families begin working with us one to two years before their desired entry point, particularly for high school and college placement. That said, we also support families on shorter timelines and provide targeted, a la carte support as needed.
Our work is grounded in deep admissions and placement experience, high standards of excellence, and a strong commitment to student wellbeing. We have firsthand knowledge of competitive admissions processes and long-standing relationships within rigorous independent schools and colleges. Just as importantly, we take an asset-based approach that honors each student’s journey, strengths, and growth.
Our support is highly individualized and may include school or college list development, application strategy, writing and interview coaching, test preparation coordination, admissions advocacy, and transition support. We work closely with both students and families to ensure clarity, accountability, and thoughtful pacing throughout the process.
The timeline of coaching sessions will depend on when a family has engaged Seed & Sky and their desired entry point. While a typical coaching session lasts for 1-hour virtually, the length and frequency of coaching sessions can vary based on the student & family's need.
No ethical advising practice can guarantee admissions results. While we are proud to have a 100% placement rate in both high school and college admissions, our focus is on helping students submit strong, authentic, and competitive applications and find environments where they can thrive academically and personally.
